Book Inspirations
I wrote “Someone Always Loved You” shortly after I got a full time job in radio…my first REAL job other than fast food. I was a year or so out of college and I lost my creative writing outlet because no one was assigning papers to me anymore. Because my grandmother was in a coma once, I always wondered if people in a coma could hear others around them. I got the prologue for the story stuck in my head and I simply could NOT go on without writing it down. Once I wrote the prologue, I thought I owed it to the story to finish it off. So, during breaks at work, I did just that. I honestly had NO idea what would happen in the story from day to day. The fact that is became a complicated story that wove several character’s lives together including love, adoption, illness, alcoholism and much more was beyond anything I could have planned. I never wrote an outline. I never plotted ahead. I just wrote. What resulted is, to this day, one of my favorite pieces.

REVIEWS
"The story was not what I had expected at all. The twist and turns it took certainly made me want to finish the book. Each character had distinctive personalities and I am not sure who was my favorite. The title goes hand in hand with the storyline. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading the unexpected."

“This was a very moving story, and it has a twist I never expected. Very well written, with very well developed characters. I just can’t get over the twist. It puts you through all the emotions. Sadness, happiness, anger. I felt very bad for her husband, but for Jay as well. The ending was heartfelt. All in all, a very enjoyable read.”

"I loved this book and the way everyone was connected. I cried reading the last couple of chapters. It was a great read."
-Radiann King
"Would absolutely recommend this book. The author did a great job of bringing each character's separate experiences together in the end. A great story about love in a not-so-perfect world.
